How We Treat Dental Emergencies

- Initial Phone Call: You are encouraged to call our office right away so that we can determine the severity of your child’s injury. We will see your child on the same day and are here to provide after-hours and weekend appointments if necessary.
- Emergency Examination: When arriving at one of our three dental offices, a member of our team will take X-rays of your child’s mouth and perform a complete oral examination to identify the affected area and determine the underlying problem.
- Treatment Plan Review: After reviewing all the necessary information, one of our dentists will build a treatment plan and review it with you and your child. This will include what we plan to do to help your child out of pain and restore their smile as well as the expected cost of treatment.
-
Administration of Care: We’ll work quickly to repair the damaged tooth (or teeth) and ensure your child no longer feels any pain. Depending on the type of injury, some of the most common treatment options may include antibiotics, a dental filling, a dental crown, pulp therapy, or a tooth extraction.
